Michael Smith, Ph.D.

Molecular Supervisor

As molecular supervisor, Dr. Smith is responsible for overseeing clinical molecular diagnostic assays in areas such as hematologic malignancies, urological and prostate cancer biomarkers, melanoma and GYN molecular testing, as well as for the development of new tests, such as PCR. He has 16 years of experience in the industry and is a published molecular specialist. Prior to his arrival at StrataDx, Dr. Smith was a technical team leader at Abbott Molecular, Inc.

Dr. Smith earned his bachelor of science degree in biotechnology from Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. He also earned a doctor of philosophy degree in biology from University of Pennsylvania.
